About the role The Operations Manager owns end to end operational performance across all campaigns delivered from the Corpshore Samarkand site. This is a senior leadership role responsible for client SLAs, operational financials, frontline leadership, continuous improvement, and the primary operational relationship with client stakeholders. The role is multi-campaign by design. You will lead our new June 2026 campaign for a global social media and live streaming client, launching at 11 frontline staff and scaling toward 35 to 50 within six months and an anticipated 100 or more within twelve months, alongside other Samarkand programs as they ramp. What you will do - Own client SLA delivery across assigned campaigns and set daily, weekly, and monthly performance rhythms. - Lead Team Leaders, Senior CSRs, and Senior Moderators in daily delivery. - Manage staffing, scheduling, and 24/7 shift coverage. - Serve as primary operational contact for client stakeholders and lead business reviews. - Hire, develop, and coach leaders, and own attrition and retention. - Champion the Trust and Safety Wellness Framework for moderation teams. - Manage operational financials including labor cost, productivity yield, and attrition cost. - Ensure compliance with Uzbekistan labor law, IT Park residency requirements, and client obligations. What we are looking for - At least 7 years of operational leadership in BPO, contact center, shared services, or technology operations. - At least 3 years in a supervisory or managerial role with profit and loss or financial accountability. - Experience managing 50 or more frontline staff, scaling to 100 or more preferred. - Direct experience with customer service, content moderation, or technical support operations. - Demonstrated success with international clients. Multilingual operations experience preferred. - Bachelor degree required, MBA or equivalent a plus. - English at C1 or above on the CEFR scale. - Working proficiency in Russian or Uzbek for local team and labor relations. - Additional languages such as Spanish, Kurdish, or Mandarin are an asset. Location and engagement Samarkand, Uzbekistan. Full time employee on an indefinite contract under Uzbekistan labor law. Reports to the General Manager, Corpshore Uzbekistan, with cross reporting to Corpshore Group Operations leadership. Pre-employment screening Offers are conditional on screening including a criminal background check through the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan, education and employment verification, identity and right to work checks, drug screening, and a financial integrity reference check. Candidates with prior criminal convictions are not eligible.
